Poem
This poem can be found in the self-published book, Passion Before Perfection:
Paper bulbs blossom into words.
Each leaf, a splintered thought that broke away
from the mind
that had the strength to plant it.
From idea to invention,
alphabet letters are scattered in the wind and left
to their own development,
having to contend with the jargon, slang and gibberish
that entangle,
and try to force the life,
from meaningful text.
Nurtured, and allowed to grow freely,
pollinated poetry will seed and spread
embedding inspiration
into the fertile beds of brain
that are open enough to allow
the winds of change to pass through.

What a gorgeous poem!
I write poetry myself… haven’t for a while tho (I’m a filmaker so concentrating my energies on filmscripts etc) but you’ve just inspired me to read some poetry again – thank you!
I’m creating a website for artist’s – which is all about forming community as well as provide inspiration & resources for creative people in all mediums around the world.
I’d love to feature this poem on it at a later stage (in its early development stages at the moment). So please send me an email at performance.evolution@gmail.com if you’re interested to . Another place for you to have your work known too
Love & Inspiration
